Journalism and Media Ethics

Members of the Media Ethics Special Interest Section focus on the evolving standards for professionals in journalism and media, the ethical challenges presented by an explosion in social media, the latest developments in effective teaching techniques, current cases and hot topics that challenge scholars and practitioners alike.

 

Membership and participation in the Media Ethics SIS is open to all including media specialists, academic faculty, journalists, researchers, ethics center directors, educators, and students.  Members plan and organize the Media Ethics program track for the APPE Annual Meeting, workshops and special luncheons with invited guest speakers.
