Engineering, Science and Technology
Members of the Engineering, Science and Technology Special Interest Section examine both the professional responsibilities of engineers and the broader ethical and social implications of developments in science and technology. EST programs focus on innovative teaching techniques, professional standards, current cases and hot topics that challenge scholars and practitioners alike.
Membership and participation in the EST SIS is open to all including academic faculty, engineers, researchers, ethics center directors, educators, and students. Members plan and organize the Engineering, Science and Technology program track for the APPE Annual Meeting, workshops and special luncheons with invited guest speakers.
