This special interest section brings together Association members interested in business ethics and the full range of issues concerning ethical decision making in the workplace and corporate responsibility in the community. Members plan and organize a business ethics track of programs for the APPE Annual Meeting, workshops and special business ethics luncheons with invited guest speakers.
Membership and participation in the Business Ethics SIS activities is open to all including academic faculty, corporate ethics officers, ethics center directors, business executives and managers, legal counsel, and students. Recent discussions have focused on ethical issues in leadership, social responsibility, effective educational and employee training initiatives, and environmentally sustainable business practices.
Members of the Business Ethics SIS and others interested in these topics are encouraged to attend the SIS breakfast meeting held each year at the APPE Annual Meeting on Saturday morning.
