2016 Ethics Bowl Summer Workshop

The Association for Practical and Professional Ethics is hosting the 2016 Ethics Bowl Summer Workshop at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
The workshop will hold sessions pertaining to the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl, the Two-Year College Ethics Bowl, and the National High School Ethics Bowl, in addition to sessions on coaching, judging, student voices, the future of the bowl, and organizing regional competitions, etc.
The main workshop will occur on Saturday and Sunday, beginning Saturday morning. Friday will bring the second annual Newcomers session, as well as the second annual Opening Reception, both to be housed in the home of the APPE staff - the Poynter Center building.

Pre-Workshop Session: "Newcomers - The ABCs of Ethics Bowl"
There will be a special session for folks new to Ethics Bowl on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. If you have no previous experience with Ethics Bowl, please plan on attending this session. This pre-workshop session will provide basic information on teams, coaches, judges, moderators, competitions, and what makes Ethics Bowl a unique and rewarding experience for high school and college students. Please indicate on your participation form if you plan on attending.

Friday Evening Social Opportunities
On Friday evening, from 4:30 - 6 p.m., the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics will host an informal reception for attendees of the 2016 Ethics Bowl Summer Workshop at their home offices in Bloomington: 618. E. Third Street, Bloomington, Indiana. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served. Tickets are available through registration.
Saturday Evening Dinner Opportunity
There will be an opportunity to attend an informal dinner at a nearby restaraunt on Saturday night. More information about the venue will be coming soon. It will be within walking distance of the hotel/meeting space and group seating will be arranged. This will be a pay-on-your-own event.

Registration is now open. Participation fees are as listed below:
Before May 24, 2016: $100.00 per person and includes lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
After May 26, 2015: $125.00 per person and includes lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
Friday Reception Fee: $10.00 per person, attendance not required.
